Review
I have read a few of Ms. Daulton's stories and this book is no different. It lives up her easy to follow and enjoyable style of writing.
This time of year people enjoy those books that give you the happy ending and make you feel all warm and fuzzy and this book gave me that. I smiled more than a few times while reading Krista and Derek's little love affair.
I would have liked to see this story a bit longer so I could have gotten to know more of the characters. The cover I think doesn't do Derek's character enough justice. He is much more bad boy than the cover model. Which was a bonus for me.
Often times the 'happy ever after' books to me feel cheesy and I usually am let down. With Ms. Daulton's novella I didn't feel that at all.
All in all I would say this was a solid 3.5 star read. Had there been more of Krista and Derek then I easily could have seen this moving in the 4 star range.
